Company President, David Taylor, Eng.
Mr Taylor has over 40 years of experience in the railway industry, most of it directly related to rail vehicle design and design management. Mr. Taylor worked for CP Rail, British Rail and Bombardier, before establishing DDT&A, the pre-cursor to TRA&A, in 1984. At the former Bombardier Rail and Diesel Products Division, he was Director of Locomotive Design. Mr. Taylor has extensive experience in the areas of interior and mechanical design, and specification of passenger rail vehicles.

Taylor Raynauld Amar & Associates Inc.
A Canadian company providing engineering, management and consulting services in the areas of rail vehicle design, acquisition and operation. Our expertise extends to locomotives, passenger and freight cars and transit vehicles. Our core competencies include mechanical, system, interiors and structural design, specification development, project management and resolution of regulatory issues.

Gabriel Amar, Eng. Vice-President - Structures
Mr Amar holds the title of Vice-President – Structures. Mr. Amar has over 20 years of engineering experience, much of which includes managing projects and performing analysis related to the design of railcar structures. He has worked extensively on passenger cars, as well as locomotives and freight cars. He has performed and supervised various types of structural analysis, including manual computation, linear and nonlinear static finite-element analysis and has acted as project engineer on subsequent modifications to vehicles. He has been focusing on crashworthiness design, evaluation and modification of passenger rail vehicles produced in North America and Europe.

Bernard Raynauld, Eng. Vice-President - Systems
Mr Raynauld holds the position of Vice-President – Systems. He has over 30 years of experience relating to the engineering, design and manufacture of locomotives as well as rail freight and passenger vehicles. Mr. Raynauld has worked for MLW, Bombardier and GE Transportation Systems before joining DDT&A, the pre-cursor to TRA&A in 1996. Mr. Raynauld typically manages projects involving the design and specification of locomotives.
